Dude, pass some of that stuff you're smoking to us all, PLEEEASE!!!
All Timmys Are pretty much the same except for the Milling and heve been quite complete since their introduction to the paintball world.
To date there have only been 2 revisions since it's inception. The CLASSICS came FIRST, then the FIRST REVISION... The 2k2's, which were mainly a Real FULL BODY revision (GZ, Z, Dragon, Ironman, ECX, Species, Storm, and Lasoya — ALL OF THESE ARE 2k2's except for Boards and Cosmetics, and they are all fantastic), which half were custom mill runs for teams that paid the $175,000 deposit for the minimum run.
The exception there was the Lasoya, being that the best player in the world was so impressed by the Intimidator, YES THE TIMMY... That he drop the already dated WDP ANGEL and the complete sponsorship he had from WDP in a heartbeat. Now correct me if I'm wrong but would the best player in the world leave WDP (arguably one of the 5 best gun manufacturers in history), for a *****ty marker?
C'mon man, you're only kidding yourself with that ignorant analogy of the Timmy.
Finally the SECOND REVISION (Third Generation in case you're finding it hard to follow) 2k4 Alias was released with a few changes and again Teams paid up their cash for their very own version of the latest coming of the best damn marker in paintball history. Now you have the EMPIRE (a sort of half breed between the 2), ALIAS, DARK, RUSSIAN LEGION, NAUGHTY DOGS, and ATOMIX, and Now the NEW LASOYA will be released at Cup!!!
Hmmm... Lets see, 1 initial design and 2 revisions? Wow, I see your point now!!!
Now let's talk about the Angel briefly shall we?...
The Angel was the Marker that changed the whole industry with it's sophisticated electronics system, and use of an electronically controlled solenoid and firing cycle. And that was about 8 years ago. Then we see a bunch of other markers "eventually" coming out with very similar features only they lacked the quality of WDP's product. Soon after the other electros closed in on the Angel so fast that WDP had to hit R&D in a bad way and the revisions were under way. That was about 6 or 7 years ago (I can't remember exactly due to the total lack of sleep I endured my last 2 years in college), and since then the Angel has undergone Literally AT LEAST 50 REVISIONS!!!
Now if your precious little Antiquated Angel is fine having undergone such extensive revisions, why then would you deem another marker as incomplete,
having undergone just 2 revisions.
You my friend are a biased, Angel Lover and that's O.K., just don't bash other markers when you know diddly squat about little more than your precious Angel.
I on the other hand do know a thing or two about EVERY MARKER IN PAINTBALL, and am able to state the pros and/or cons for each in an unbiased manor.
For instance the Angel is a fantastic overall marker but only as of late do they come with a real quality eye/vision system. The other characteristic I dislike is that they have more of a kick or recoil than I prefer but if anyone feels it is nothing they couldn't get accustomed to and would like to purchase one... They'd be making an excellent purchase.
Having said ALL THAT... When the hell is your Beloved Angel going to be FINAL??!?!!!???!??!??!!?!?!??
After it's 74th revision?
Really, pick up ANY well maintained Timmy and tell me your Angel is miles ahead of it in any way. You'd have to be insane to think so. Tell you what, if you see me on a field one day I'll let you shoot my Storm so you could beg me to trade for your Angel afterwards.
Sorry if I tore into you too badly but I felt that sounded a bit too much like someone in dire need of a lesson in the world of Hi-End Markers.
