I'm getting back into HTML and was wondering if anybody here knows much about it like font colors how to make a fixed background etc. etc.

for the colors:

<font face="font" color="#xxxxxx" size="12">

for the x's insert the 6 digit RGB code (ex., 000000 is black, FFFFFF is white, etc.

i think the best HTML reference site out there is www.webmonkey.com they have info from the most beginning HTML to the most advanced....use it for anything you need

or you could just say color="white" for white and color="black" for black. only works with some colors though.

yeah, normal colors look like crap most of the time... you usually need some good shades of colors

yes, well, its useful if you dont remember color codes very well and youre making a half-assed page for someone you really want to just go away and leave you alone.
