Talking Best Open Time for Freeflow

Best Open time I could get with my Freeflow was 26. As of right now I have my Close time set at 22.

RIP Settings

I've got my Evy X set at 6, 6, 25, 38, 22 for 11 bps.
I got these settings using Mats's instructions given earlier by Capt. Klutz.

I definately have some vacuum and the gun shoots very well. Keep in mind, I have reduced the reciprocating mass by 2 onces from the stock weight of my bolt and pump arm.

I will be using it at the Canadian Nationals this weekend and I'll update this post, Monday.

Cool errrrrrrrr

So far these settings are working fairly well on my Freeflow.

8 8 26 34 22 = 11.1 bps

I'm thinking I want to try a different bolt oooooooor a combination of things, something to cut down on my Open time, anyone have any suggestions? My Freeflow is running the older styler bolt which is a bit longer. Anyone think running newer style bolt would make up much of a difference?

I'll also try lowering Shot/Dwell to 6 and keep the trial and error up with the Load time.

Sam...

Thanks for those settings. I have the longer bolt too so we should be in the same boat in my Mini.

Talking Got my new FReeflow

Well I finally got my new Freeflow after waiting about a month and a half. Here are my new settings:

5 5 24 34 20 = 12.1bps

I could probably bring down Open to 23 and I'm sure I can still lower the Load time. I'll start working on my Load time tomorrow =)

Thumbs up saM!

That's pretty impressive, what are you using for a loader and are you having any chops?

Loader

That's sweet!

I just got my Halo this weekend and didn't have it in my hands for 24 hours and the on/off button broke. We ordered 5 and the on/off broke on 2, 1 jams, 1 never came with a feed cone wheel and the last 1 works. I believe it was Meatloaf who said "two out of three ain't bad", but I have to say 4 out of 5 SUCKS!

We are returning our's to National for a refund.

That being said, when they workout the quality issues that loader feeds like mad and we will wait for the second generation.

I ran into a similar problem, but it was not caused by the Race. For some reason when I would run my input pressure aroun 200psi I would get massive blowback. I was using a Delrin bolt without o-rings. One solution was to raise the pressure which I did to around 380psi and this fixed the problem. I wanted to run lp so I bought a lightning bolt and that fixed my blowback issue.

Talking input

My input pressure is at about 290psi and my set up is a Lockout Freeflow with all the bells and whistles. We're here for you if you need us! =)

Thanks a lot sam! I should be getting it within the month, they dont have the boxer bodies right now but they are goin to put it together as soon as they come. I also am on the list for the ace, so if they get it before they finish my gun its goin to be on there. That would be nice.

Talking not quite

That noise you speak of never quite goes away, the sort of farting? The noise was less noticable when I lowered my dwell/shot. Try that and see what results you get.

Ok finally got to run some paint through her and I had a few problems. The gun would shoot awesome if you didn't let off the trigger real fast but if you did I would get pinched balls. Should I increase my load time? It's at 34 right now?
