Putting stuff on CDRW

Alright.. since my puny hard drive is filling up im gonna take off all the Simpsons and Family Guy episodes I downloaded and put them on a cd. Problem is that it wont let me put them onto the CDRW. Its gives me a popup message that says....

Error Copying File

Cannot Copy (insert filename here): Access denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use.

OK

The disk is NOT full.. its completely empty.. I did format it. And the file is not currently in use.. Anyone have any idea what the hell the problem is??

BTW, The type of file Im trying to put on the cd is one that plays in Windows Media Player.

have you tried it with more than one cd? and are you sure you have the necessary permissions to access the file?

Which program are you using?

Get Easy CD Creator 5 or Nero Burning Rom, burn them as files, not as a VCD.

You also may want to try and reinstall your CD-RW drivers.

no! try roxio direct cd. its a system that formats cd-r's and cd-rw's so that u can drag and drop right on to them. u can play the movies/songs right off the cd too. go for it - Roxio Direct Cd

directcd sucks. you gotta format the cd, which takes up space, and its irritating, and it killed a friend's computer three times before we gave up on it. did i mention all of roxio's products suck? they try way the hell too hard to be cute, and wind up being really irritating.
