what is the point of having classes in nppl and psp events

this has always been one of my pet peeves, i just don't understand when they have enough teams entered why are'nt teams playing teams in there own class ?

my example dynasty, teams they play,

1. wassaga shooters d2
2. atomix d2
3. avalanche pro
4. bushwackers ca d2
5. team rage pro
6. godspeed pro
7. organized crime pro
8. 303 d2

what is the point of classes ? i would much rather see teams beat up on each other in their own classes, are they ever gonna make that change?

the best teams don't face each other until the finals in each class,

what are your opinions on this? but yeah i like rooting on the underdog and sometimes they might win but really most of the time it's pretty boring and over quick, just my opinion,

They'll play teams in their own class in the semi-finals.

It's good for newer teams to go to big events and play the best teams in the world. That way you see first hand why they have the sponsorship and respect.

yeah well i play them so i know what you are saying but really would'nt it be more attractive if teams like dynasty and the dogs were playing each other early on not in the semi's?

and it sure sucks if you draw more higher class teams then the team that wins the tourny,

i would just rather have teams from the same class beating up on each other, because at practice each week you get to play higher class teams thats where you should get your playing time in with those teams,

or how about rookies can play up to novice, novice can play rookie or amateurs, and amateurs can play up to novice and pros, and pros can play am or pros.

Sorta like you can only play one level higher or lower then yourselves. Not like Pros playing against rookies, that is just asking to be slaughtered.

Atleast if it is only one division higher who knows you might be ready to be taking on these bigger dogs.

Sometimes Pro teams playing Novice teams works out pretty well. HG Gangstas (Novice team from Hawaii) played Organized Crime (Pro team) and spanked them. Of course, OC hasn't won any games yet, but it put them in their place. Before the match, OC was overheard saying very loudly that this should be easy because they're from Hawaii.

they should try just huge brackets like the ncaa maybe...like lower classes would be lower seeds maybe?

i could understand having 6 games against teams in your own division, and two outside of it, but some of these draws are just ridiculous.

this is part of the reason the rookie bracket has such low scores to average right now.

how will any of these players expect to play any other teams in their own bracket during the quarter finals if they cant even make it past the prelims because they were teamed against teams who were clearly better than them, and even made note of it when they registered for the event by entering a higher division.

rookies are the only class that really gets jipped out of the deal because its not like they play a team that is of lesser skill than them

thats how i see it, they clearly have enough teams to beat up on each other , not to mention how much the rookies are dishing out to play the tourny, and then you get spanked the whole weekend if you get that really tough draw,

i talked about one of our draws earlier, everyteam we drew made the finals that's why that draws stands out real clear,we drew teams like kapp sin cartel outkast, i'm not whining i would play any schedule handed to us but i don't like the way we do it now
