with all that and removing the cyclone, it defeats the point of getting an a5, you might as well just get a 98, it'll be cheaper.

Yes, fill the tube before putting on a pod.

I know it is a ball getting jammed because I lost my patience and forced it (I know, dont force anything) but I did, and the result was a broken ball.
does anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this. the ball also breaks inside the pod. not at the loader part. it is breaking well inside the pod (1-2 turns in)
well. any help will be appreciated. 3 of the 5 pods are fine. but for some reason. 2 pods are acting up.
thanks guys.

If you remove the spring rod assembly and look down into the outer pod housing, you will see the square shaped raised piece. This holds the inner black helical core that the balls go down. It is square shaped but it has an index knotch that only allows the inner helical core to sit in one spot. This is what lines up the ramp on the helical core with the entrance/exit hole in the pods cap. If it isnt lined up right it will cause balls to get broken and you wont be able to wind the pods. This May be your problem.

When you put the spring rod back into the central black helical core you have to make sure the drive hub ( black round thing with saw teeth on it ) is lined up with the 6 little slots on the inside of the impeller ( thing with the holes/paddles that push the balls ). You have to sometimes rotate the saw toothed piece seperate from the impeller piece for it to fall into place. It should not naturally "pop" up out of the impeller piece. Extremely hard to explain. Video would be worth a million words...

Is it possible to mount the q-loader on the feed neck with the little locking ring thing?
Like attaching it to the reg except ontop of the gun.
I'm trying to figure out how to attach a q-loader to my gun.
Imagine this. A half assed autococker body, so it basically looks like a timmy with cocker pneumatics.
I have a 15* asa, and I don't want a drop.
I was thinking about mounting it ontop of the tank, with the drop I have now, but I don't know.
How comfortable is it to snap shoot with the q-loader right ontop of the tank?
Where do ya'll mount your q-loader?
I don't want to mount it under the barrel, because 1) I have a 15* asa, and 2) I want to push air bunkers, and I think it would get in the way.
I don't want to mount it ontop the feed neck because it wouldn't be a strong connection.
I don't know about putting it ontop of the tank because it looks like it sticks out allot, and I don't know if it would get in the way when sighting when I shoulder my gun.
I'm thinking about putting it on the side of my gun, like they have in the pictures of the angel, with the CMS. But I don't know if that will work on a cocker.
I can't put it vertically under my gun because it would snap off.
Basically I want to mount it like they have in the pic with the angel + cms.... But I don't know if it will fit.
Any ideas?

Do all of your pods not unload? Or, just one of them? Watch the prewinds video at qloader.com. it shows how to disassemble and reassemble the qpod. try that first if that doesnt help come back and let us know.

It could mount on your feedneck, depens if it's tall enough.

Can anyone tell me how it feels to mount it above the tank?
Doesn't it prevent you from sighting?

What causes my loaders to jam? I have to stop and hit the loader numerous times to get it to start loading again...I have tried rewinding, rebuilding, you name it.
Any suggestions???
Second question is this...It may have to do with the first question...But im using an a5 with custom mounting setup, i have a rva and the maddman spring kit with the med spring and also the FVA mod. also a palmers.
Im not sure if my bolt and valve are staying open too long or what the problem is...
I have all winding from 9 to 15...Now i am at 12 again...At 14 i get double feeds...Now i get chops...
Any one know of a good detent that uses a standard tap....That way i could dual detent my a5...And crank it up to like 14 or something..
Thanks for any help or input

Qloaders are pickey on the types of ballls used. They have to be good round ball or they will not load into the pod. Sometimes u can get a soft one that will jam when the pod is unloading.
hope this helps

It's not too bad, u just have to mount it away from the tank alittle so u can get to the trigger better.
Check these pics of my ION. You have to get the custom mounting socket.

I meant ontop of the tank like this.
Does anyone run their q-loader like this? And if so how comfortable is it to sight down the barrel?

Two of my teammates have it mounted above their tanks.. Its really all preference. However make sure that when you hold your gun the top of the tank is at or above the top of your shoulder or else the pod wont clear.
Personaly I run mine tight against the tank on the left side of the grip frame. dosnt alow for switching hands but usualy just switched shoulders anyways
