Easy installation: Pull the stock chip out and plug the new chip in. That’s it!

One-touch, fast start-up: This provides “instant-on” capabilities, which allows the marker to be fired as soon as it turns on. This gets rid of the long boot-up sequence and puts less wear on the membrane buttons. Ever been in the start station with 5 seconds till game start? Hit the power button and you’re ready to rock.

Improved cycle based debounce algorithm: Uses the Tadao 4.0 debounce software. All settings are less than 1 millisecond in time!

Adjustable ABS time: Rather than the lengthy 15 second ABS time as used with the stock DM4, the XSF Advantage DM4 chip makes it adjustable, based on your personal preference and your marker’s needs. The default is 8 seconds, which is the same as the original LED and LCD Matrix.

LogicR Eye Control: While the eyes are enabled they watch for the bolt movement, giving the marker a dynamic back pulse. This provides a virtually unlimited rate of fire. Additionally, the eyes can tell if they become continuously blocked, and will automatically disable after 5 shots so you don’t have to stop mid-game and turn the eyes off manually. Of course, the eye button can still toggle the eyes.

Configurability: Adjustable settings include: backpulse while eyes are disabled, front pulse, loader delay (equivalent to the eye sensitivity on the stock chip), ABS time, and debounce.

Instant Trigger Response: Scans for trigger pulls over 1 million times per second. You will never have trigger pulls ignored due to slow software!

I could be wrong, but it wouldn't make sense that Dye would be at HB because they are primarily a PSP sponsor.

Yeah Dye won't be there but we were talking about the XSF chip which is an after market accessory for the DM4 and is not distributed by Dye.

i have the chip!!!! i got it from someone who lives right by som1 at xsf... whatever. i dont see much of a diff than the other chip, but im saying this on acount that iv only used the regular chip for under 50 shots, lol

anyone else out there think that te chip does not make that big of a difference??? Please let me know, iv'e been very interested in seeing how people like it, or not.

your not going to see much of a bps diff, its basicly meant for the abs and stuff and the time it takes to turn on, if u are a rec player and u have a dm4, or if u dont shoot so fast and the exact abs time isnt so important..... then thew stock chip is woth it, and you dont have to spend that $80, but if you want it, then go for it and try it out, if u dont like it then sell it......

it's a chip...not a board,it's not but Maybe an inch long,and a quarter of an inch wide...

sorry how i worderd it........ by bigger i meant like not literally but lots of people wanting it, helping out with FSDO and stuff like that, like options.

Well the chip seem to help me keep a constant stream of paint spitting longer than the stock but the real benefit I got was from the instant-on and the adjustable ABS, the stock was just not my flavor.

if you mean as "big" as WAS then no way will this chip be "bigger", and why would it come with an eye, when the DM4 already comes with perfectly fine eyes as it is??

Did you read any of my posts? Im not talkin about XSF chip for DM4... Im talkin about the one for the Impulse. Does anyone kno anything about it yet?

nope and im not sure anyone will, the dm4 chip just showed up and ppl started talking im sure the same thing will happen with the imp chip. if they accutually make the imp chip impulses are dieing, i think, shocker will faze it out.
