ok people I have found an answer to the sp lawsuit SP didnt have the right toward the electronics patent the navy created the first electronic paintball gun 1971 and put a patent on it shown
Here on top of that they had put the patent on the electronics on the shocker which wasnt even their design it was Pneu-venture's. SP then took the gun reverse engineered, filed their own patents and came out with the shocker 4x4 and got rid of pneu-venture. So the shocker wasnt even their design in the first place.
