Fenix leaking air down barrel

Ok so I have a 2012 model fenix. Was trying to upgrade it a little. Put a cp gauge adapter on the reg, macroline, a small drop, and a techt bolt in it. Now I went to hook up my hpa tank and heard air leaking out the barrel. So I undid it real quick. Replaced the vertical adapter oring and the c cup. Hooked tank back up and still doing it. And ideas? I also read somewhere that if your tank doeant have much air in it, that it won't be enough to make everything seal. Don't know how much truth there is to that, but my tank only has like 800psi left in it lol

I would check to make sure the cup seal is properly tightened. Also check to see if the valve spring is on properly with the valve stem.

Yeah I checked that when I replaced it. Thinking I need to check the striker for wear or busted o ring. If not that, maybe the o rings on the valve itself?

It could be the o-rings on the valve itself. I have busted a few o-rings when reassembling the marker.

I'm not sure how the striker o-ring would cause a leak, of any sort. Unless the broken o-ring has caused the striker to get jammed in the forward position. If you can cock the marker, and the marker leaks in the cocked position, there is no way possible for it to be related to the striker. I'm guessing valve o-rings, or a defective/damaged cup seal (it happens).

Yeah it was the valve o rings. The forward one was disintegrated. Lol and I figured the striker wouldn't affect it, but that's what some dude told me. Thanks for the help!

When re-installing the valve after servicing your Fenix, rub a little DOW-33 grease on the valve o-rings before sliding it back in. This will allow you to install the valve without worrying about cutting up the o-rings.

I hope this helps you out in the future!
