It actually kinda sucks for all those teams who practiced during the off season on fields with real snakes, becuase they probably had them as a key spot.

That's EXACTLY why they did it that way, I'm sure. No promoter (or team of decent skill) wants to play on a field they have memorized. By throwing something like this dual-"snake"-thingy at teams, it should filter out the meek, and pull out the real "ballas."

The best teams adapt to the field, not memorize it.
