Mini GS Ball in Place

How many milliseconds should I have my ball in place second be if I'm using a Proto Primo? I've been chopping a lot lately, although it could be the paint, but the guy at my store said it's easy on paint... Thanks.

Minis seldom "chop," though excessive blowback can appear similar. My suggestion is to put 2 balls in the feedneck without a hopper and see if the second ball hops excessively. If so, replace the bolt orings and the bolt guide orings. While you're at it, go ahead and lube your poppet oring.
