Vcom engine-broke piece?

Ok so I am having trouble getting the vcom engine I just recieved to seal up. I noticed their is a piece that appears broken near the small oring in the pic. Has anyone ever had this piece snap and is it something that would cause a leak?

Nope, that is the air pipe in the pic inside that small o-ring, but I can see that outer o-ring appears to be broken or dirty. Where is it leaking from?

It's tough to tell, it almost seems like it's coming from the space between the 2 bodies which would make sense if that oring is split. I'll check tonight and try the old soap and water trick to pinpoint the leak.

Mine doesn't even have the O ring, and looks really messed up, but doesn't seem to have any leaks.

Forgot to update. I tested with soap and water and it was leaking trough the bottom part of the through body cuts of the ripper so I pulled the small orings on the air holes, lubed and it sealed right up. Thanks guys.
