Any high school players here?

Just wondering how many players that plan on playing all the PSP events have conflicting school scheduals. I.e. graduation, prom, etc. Also wondering what PSP's stance is on this, seeing as they will lose many teams and players due to this.

I plan on playing all psp events...and if it runs into something real important...then I would have to miss an event...but there is nothing important right now, lol.

Being a senior in HS is nothing, I have more ceramics classes than "real" classes.

Well yea, but when you've got to choose between graduation and Chicago, it's kind of hard.

Sorry, PSP isn't going to drop everything and accomodate for high school students. In fact, there are far more people who have real jobs than HS students and they don't do anything special for them. It's a lot harder to get out of work 20 times a year than it is to get out of High School.

It's not PSP's issue that the prom or graduation is scheduled during the same time as one of the events... That responsibility falls on the shoulders of the teams. They need to be aware of when they won't have a few players and must make changes or pickups to deal with it. Quite siimply, it's not PSP's problem.

There are far too many high schools with different graduations and proms to worry about finding a date that everyone likes... well, because it doesn't exist.

Finding a date that the location has open is much more important than a few people missing for extraneous reasons

My school has a 10 absence rule per semester, if you go over you have to appeal. Last year I had to appeal, but they ended up giving me my credits.

This year I have enough credits to graduate, so there's no 10 day rule for me. I know any public school in Michigan is this way too, so if any of you are from Michigan and have enough credits to graduate you're all set. Other states might have the same laws, go to your state's website and email someone from the education department, they can forward you a list of all types of school laws. I plan on playing all 10 events this year.

My administrators decided that PSP is an educational experience, so I can go to them with no worries.
