How am I being a dick about it? I am saying that the events are fairly balanced with locations east and west. You can always drive to the events. I drove from MD to Chicago last year, its only 12 hours.

are u really that dumb?

lemme get this straight...i do live in cali, san diego to be exact and pomona is the ONLY event close enough to REALISTICALLY drive to. yes vegas would have been too but denver is a little far. yes i could drive there but that means another day off from work just for the 20 hour drive and then show up exhausted. so u hav to go to orlando, thats closer than me to denver. if u cant afford to get to the event how do u expect to play x-ball? it isnt like u need $2250 to register, $1800 in paint. the hotel room and flight are nothing next to that. stop crying and just sack up and go play.

you've obviously never been to chicago. It's a grid lock between 7 am and 12 noon. Then again from about 2pm - 10 pm.

Noob, its a proven fact that the only city that has worse traffic than Chi-town is the crap-hole, Los Angeles.

It was the security/grounds crew as I stated earlier....I believe they were arrested though and most everyone got their stuff back.

you didnt use the expressways then....squid? what?

Not only did i travel to the fields every day from there, but my parents are divorced. Mom lives in the city, Dad lives in the 'burbs. I have traveled to and from Chicago more than anyone i know. I have been to Philly three times. doesnt compare. philly should be happy about that.

This is a stupid argument. you have no idea what you're talking about.....move on.

And about Denver, i'm probably going to be wrong on this but i doubt that it'll be there. Thats just my feeling. Denver doesnt take well to paintball. They wont even allow pb guns within city limits.....something to think about when we're asking them to hold an event that draws thousands of paintball players......

just my gut feeling.....but i have no idea for sure obviously

Ummm what

I have a good friend that knows the gun Laws for Colorado like the back of his hand. I have never heard of anything about not being able to posses a paintball gun in the city limits of Denver, as long as its properly stowed away. And i promise you the cops usually have better things to do like pull over those jerkoff drivers
Ive talked with the owners of American Paintball Coliseum and their in the heart of Denver. So if it were illegal to have a paintball marker in the city limits, they would not have a buisness license to operate a paintball field in the city limits.

no no, they arent jerk-off drivers at all....they're just not good at driving. there is a huge difference. Like, out here in colorado, people dont know how to merge. They stop at the end of the ramp and wait for a gap of cars to come by....hahaha. so merging takes like 15 minutes.....driving noobs. And they will NOT check their blind spots before changing lanes. And they dont pay attention to green lights. Every time a light turns green they just fu*king sit there like a deer in headlights.....stupid colorado drivers, happens EVERY day that i drive to school. Obviously you have no reference becuase your from colorado, but in Chicago, if people drove like they did out here, they'd get shot.

And about the gun thing. I may have misunderstood the guy at my local pro shop here in westminster, but i'm pretty sure thats what he said. I may have heard him wrong, but I'm absolutely sure that they are strict about how you carry weapons/paintball guns.....but thats just what i heard. And i'm not suprised becuase of the general attitiude of Denver. It's a different world out here....

And the cops dont have anything better to do than pull over drivers....there just arent any cops out here. go to chicago, la or new york...those cops have something to do....

Well..

I can't speak to Denver specifically, but it's rarely gun laws.

Pretty much EVERY urban area has a law prohibitting the discharge of airguns (including paintball guns) within the city limits. Usually there's some sort of permet process to get an exemption, but sometimes not.

Also keep in mind that just because it's "Denver" doesn't mean it's in the city limits of Denver. I'm pretty sure none of the events have been in the city limits yet.

That is correct you cannot fire your marker in the city limits, unless you are at a licensed field.
And yes it is official that the PSP will be comming to Denver.
The Denver Open will be held, August 18th through the 22nd. It replaced philly for the August date
