I dont have an IZE system, but I do have a black and Clear flex-7. Very nice. No it doesn't hurt when you get hit in the flexable part.

If the paintball goes through the flexible part it will hurt like a ***** though. You'll get a nice big welt on your chin. And if your mouth is open, you can tell all your friends you ate a paintball.

I had a ize it seat coloteing dust on the wall beside the spyder Tl and a few other thing I sujest a flex-7 more supprt in the flexy area.

I got a clean bounce on the upper part of the lower piece, but a ball hitting low on that flexy part would just deflect into the chin or push it out of the way. My next mask will have a firmer lower section.

It does hurt a bit but I think it is worth it when you are playing and it bounces because of the gel part.

Well, the older masks are alright, but that new WETEX rubber is retarded to say the least, NO protection. You can practically blow the thing in. I had to reinforce mine by weaving weedwacker string in out of the bottom set of holes, it worked very good, weave two lines in there and it brings it up to the strenght of a normal Flex.
