Etek 3 settings

Hi, I recently bought a Etek 3 LT used. It has a VP trigger and a ego bolt in it. I found that it has a lot of kick. Just wondering if there are any settings to lower the kick. I herd you can ajust the LPR and dwell, but what do I ajust it to? Thanks any help appreciated

Etek is kicky and you won't do much about it.

You can dwell tune the marker...lower the dwell until you see a drop in fps, then bump it up .5 ms. That will be your lowest operating dwell. You can adjust the lpr as well but there won't be much of a difference.

Dwell 8, LPR flush for optium settings. If you want a smoother gun, you can raise your dwell and lower your operating pressure and LPR'll get less shots and it won't make all that much difference.

If you're worried about the kick, your mind is already in the wrong state. Every gun kicks about the same at the muzzle. The etek just has more internal vibration since it's a poppet gun.

Get out there and practice, the gun will work perfectly fine. I make great accurate shots with my etek 3, just the same as every other gun I've owned.
