Im not sayin they do have cheat boards but boards that the dwell goes up after it reaches a certain BPS can be made.

Are you speaking of the ramping dwell boards that *a team I will not say* uses? After 12bps the dwell will ramp making the gun shoot hotter. Im not talking about Dynasty but maybe this is what youre talking about

Hmmmmmmmmm...............Well this is a interesting thread. As far as cheat boards. If WAS boards are cheats then I guess we cheated. We had two of these guns in Orlando and three in Miami. These were stock 2.7 WAS boards for Timmys (no if I messed up on the board number...sorry). I know I had the most updated board because I fried mine at Orlando and Jim Drew replaced it for me. If you know Jim he is very much against cheating......infact I believe he took out debounce 1 on his boards because they were going crazy. Another thing we used last year Egg's and Revys
You can only shot as fast as the loader.

I know that the NPPL is working on a machine that will tell what a gun is actually doing. We are all for it.

Nice. I know there are ramping chips out there for Matrixes, but they add bounce at higher ROF, not up dwell (front pulse).

Then again, what board doesn't bounce at high rates of fire?

Good point on the VL and Revvys though...

The Revs and eggs are a great point, trigger bounce will make your marker fire VERY fast near its MROF. With a Revy or even Egg they can't keep up to 30bps and the bounce becomes pretty insignificant since it is passed over when the eyes don't see anything.

Then again we've heard rumors of force-fed revolutions...

If I recall right Shockers use a dump chamber design in which dwell is mostly irrelavent.

They install Was boards intot heir shockers, thats why they shoot so fast. If SP was giving them special baords why would they upgrade to a was board?

If you figure out how to get a timmy was board in a shocker your pretty damn smart, there's not a heck of a lot of space in grip frame if you ever worked on.

Angels are one thing, 03 shockers... eh. Not saying SP just didn't reprogram the microchip, just saying WAS boards in everything is ridiculous.

Yeah, and what about the forcefield generators that make paintballs stop and drop to the ground 1/8 of an inch before they hit you? I want one of those things.

Dynasty has to be cheaters, cuz people just aren't good at paintball.

Please, people... Just cuz they're better than you doesn't mean they cheat.

I think the whole thing about bps has gotten out of hand! NPPL, PSP and Millennium should like get together and decide on the limit of bps, I would suggest 15 bps to be the maximum allowed rate of fire.

This is just like it was in Formula 1 and other types of racing events a few years ago, sooner or later you have to limit the performence in order focus on the more important things, in paintball such a thing could for example be to get a continuasly stable paint feed. Would'nt you for example like a gun that puts every single shot in the same spot more then a gun that sprays 50 shots all over the place without hitting sh**.

And about the whole cheater board issue the boards should first of all be unchangeable once they leave the factory, wich is quite simple actually. And once a new board gets out on the market It should first get tested and approved to see if it fits the given standards.

Don't mind me! Just expressing my oppinion!

When will you guys accept that their guns are like everyone elses and their true advantage in paintball is that they have skills, not "cheats".
