Its still a poppet valve, it just uses a lever to assist the rammer in opening the poppet. I noticed Eclipse has started calling it "Lever Valve" and since they invented it I guess that is their prerogitive. Since its not your typical knock open type poppet it is a good bit smoother than your typical poppet valve gun but definitely not what I would consider a spool quality shot.

I would go for the Lux simply because it's the closest thing to the Vanquish 1.5. You all know that thing shoots like BUTTER.

so really I pick the Vanquish

Another vote for none of the above.

I can just think of too many markers I would pick before any of these choices in order for me to justify a vote for any on this list.

There were two local teams at the field i play at that all VIS' s. About 60% had problems from time to time. They have all sold/traded up for Luxe oleds and LV1s. Even though the VIS has awesome efficiency, this is the reason I did not add the VIS.

If 60% had problems, then they have some real "special cases" on their teams. The issues come from setting the pressures wrong, which unfortunately is easy to do. That's the only fault I see with most BL guns.

Those local teams must have been completely incompetent. You set the pressures, lube the gun, and shoot. The vis is a work horse.

I couldn't agree more ... if 60% had issues they have NO CLUE what they were doing. The VIS is stupid simple to maintain.
I also agree the VIS blows all four of the other options out of the water. I own all of those options (well a Luxe 2.0 and not an OLED) and they collect dust in their PE Gun bags while the VIS joins me at the field.

All of the above are High end best markers, just go to a store hold/try them if you can and the one you like better in your hand go with it. Some of above posters talk BS and have no clue wtf they talking about, they will tell you to get what they own.

I'll be honest, I would play with any of them and feel just as capable. I also wouldn't pay the going rates for any of them with what is available today on the used market.

I think most people overstate the differences in markers. Maybe I'm simply not good enough to value the performance characteristics between them, but when I shoot them back to back, they feel pretty similar. Anymore, they all shoot well and they all tend to be efficient enough for tournament style play.

If I only could have one marker for the foreseeable future and it had to be one of those, it would probably be the Geo with the new IV core or maybe they LV1. Anymore, I'd rather have a less finicky marker even if it means I give up a slight edge in how it feels shooting it. I get comfort in markers that don't ask for maintenance all the time. While a DM or LUXE can be very reliable, they tend to require a bit more maintenance, even if it is minimal.

New LUXE splash is pretty sexy marker and I have like 3 that need a home.

If you lube regular then LUXE if not GEO or LV1

BUT
