I have a Spyder TL+ and i want to make sure the velocity is correct. I dont have any place avalible for me to go or a machine that test velocity. So if you have the same gun as me or a similar gun, How many turns (from the closed position) do i need to turn the power adjuster thing to get about 280 FPS.

Use a chrono.

Even if it is the same make and model, each gun has variances with each other. You can't set the fps because someone else's velocity adjuster is turned a certain amount of times. Even with it turned all the way out, it could still be shooting hot.

There are way too many factors to just turn the knob a few times. If your running co2 the temp effects velocity. Another factor is the paint to barrel match. Since you can't go to a field to chrono your marker, BUY ONE. The handheld RadarChron is $79.00, or the Brass Eagle chrono thing is a valible at WalMart for about $40.00. This is a very important peice of safety gear that you must have, since I assume you play renagade ball. Good luck and be safe.

So playing safe and by the rules is a waste of time, huh? I don't think so. Using a chrono is quite importent.

using a cronograph is a very Important thing to do, every time you go out to a field. Also check it throughout the day because temperature and other factors can cause your velocity to jump around.
