I use a 14 inch, stainless back Teardrop front and it is, quite simply the best barrel I've ever tried. I've tried literally over 15 barrels (it's good to have friends with lots of cocker barrels) from boomies, CPs, BOA and god knows what else. The freak just is that much better because you can get a dead perfect paint/barrel match every time. That's not something you can do with any other barrel. Well, except maybe the other changeable bore barrels which also look quite promising

Freak is very good, especially if you have more than one insert. I prefer the AA tip but that's just my preference.

freak +

the answer to this is simple.....the freak + any marker = Good!

If you have all the inserts you should be able to have the barrel match the paint EVERYTIME. This is what makes the freak so good (and any other freak wannabes). I also heard it really makes no difference on the back you have such as s.s. or the reg black aluminum. Thats basically just to be pretty. I also heard that the different style fronts and/or lengths don't do much either. Basically the freak is a good buy for any marker.

Yeah, Freak Kit is great on any gun. I have it for my Timmy and it makes it shoot straighter than anything. Even with cheaper paint like 32 Degrees. I HIGHLY recommend it. Makes people intimidated too... heh heh...

I highly recommend the Freak system to all my timmy customers. Simply the best system out there. Every paint and weather condition covered with an insert.

The CP kit is probably just as good. I havent played with a freak but my CP kit shoots awesome. The only reason i got it instead of the freak was because of the backs instead of inserts. No other reason, besides i thought it looked a little better. Basically, they will shoot the same. I would be surprised if you couldnt find a paint that either kit wouldnt fit.

The freak has 8 inserts, i'd rather have that than the CP system.

the freaks nice, my only complant is the inserts, they just feel to weak. but that isn't really a problem since they shouldn't take to much punishment. i think that it is good for any gun, and i think it fits the timmy well, it's kind of like the Jack of all trades gun, not to big, not to small, not to complicated, but not to simple, has protection against chopping, and now with a Freak it has the ablity to shoot all paint well too.

Freak + Timmy = crap....... Im selling mine to get a CP Kit. I havent been too happy with it, and have had some problems with it. If you break a ball it is hard as hell to clean out. Changing the inserts is a pain in the neck if u use different paints. I would just rather have a CP kit. Some guy at the field (captain of Palmer Owner Group) reomended it to me, so i tried his. I liked it much better. So i will be getting one from him after i sell the freak. Hopefully it was only me that had the misfortunes
