No, I did not do the same thing. The difference is that you are saying that God is definitively not what I proposed. I just made a proposition I never said that is is fact. What you said is stated as fact "That God is not energy". That is something you can not say.
ok that is where we will have to agree to disagree. You take the stance that God is not real and is only a myth. I choose to believe there is a higher power a "GOD". With that being my view point and yours being there is no god there are only stories to explain things we don't understand. We will never be able to unify what we believe because you conceive things one way and I another so the same thing is one way for you and another for me.

I never said God wasn't real and I don't take myths to mean things untrue. Myths contain **** that never happened but are true because their narratives and lessons have relevance and application to every day life in ways that are more significant than morality. Not that morality is insignificant. I think the notion that Gods and religions are fabrications designed to explain stuff we don't understand is an incredibly shallow and limited view of things.
Being a member of a civilization whose way of life is defined by expending enormous amounts of energy, it's unsurprising if not inevitable that theists would link God with Energy since it forms such a crucial basis for literally every aspect of our day to day lives.
