PM8 noid cycling, but bolt not moving

I'm trying to fix a buddy's PM8, but I'm having a super weird issue. The noid is cycling, and I can feel it venting with the frame off, but the bolt isn't moving at all. Absolutely zero movement.

Settings:
LPR: 5 turns out (also missing one small shim somehow, although in theory that should just slightly increase the output pressure)
HPR: 3 turns out
dwell: 26 ms (bumped it way up from stock)

It also has a Virtue board, which I reset to factory, then bumped up the dwell. I also rebuilt the entire bolt engine, every oring.

Accidentally, yes. Got air gushing out the body of the gun . Did you mean the frame? If so, also yes. No leaks and I could feel the noid venting a small amount of air every time it cycled.

What I usually do there is swap parts with an identical gun until I find out.
I would go with the noid first

I don't have access to another PM8 (or any other Matrix), so not an option for me.

I would set the dwell back to stock, and turn up the LPR until it fires. It could be so many things, that is why I usually eliminate possible issues by swapping parts.
For example, a dm7 of mine was hardly firing. It came out to be a faultry switch on the board, it did not send enough power to the noid to work properly. Took some time to figure that out.

I'll rebuild the LPR and see what happens.

And do you mean the solenoid gasket? That should be good. I just replaced it.

Yeah the solenoid gasket

I once got a pm8 that someone used orange bolt tail orings on the lpr and it would leak like a sieve at certain temperatures

Does the bolt pass the flick test?

if you have sincerely covered the bases then its possible the solenoid needs rebuilt/replaced

Yes, bolt flicks out well. Also rebuilt the solenoid, but would like to double-check to make sure I have the parts in the right orientation. Is there a diagram online somewhere?

Gun done been fixed! Duplicate thread with solution here: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?p=81713753
