Changing the CQC composite shroud for a real AR shroud is quite easy.
It will take a couple of metric nuts for the hex bolts, and some grinding with a dremel.
Being cheap, I didn't want to spend upwards of $50 to replace my front shroud on the CQC, which I find quite bulky. So. I went looking and found
a $16 short 4" AR pistol shroud from Ebay, here:
All I had to do was drill two holes. Then grind down the outer, removable ring so it sits nice and tight against the front of the marker. Then, attach the Milsig brackets to the shroud first, with some blue loctite on the nuts. And screw the brackets to the m17.
No need for a delta ring.
