What are some good electric guns for $300-$800?

While I don't have the money or skills to get an electric gun right now, I'd like you guys' recommendations on a good electric gun. (so that by the time i have the money to get this stuff, i'll have done the necessary research)

The only things that i require my gun to have is 1. 3 shot and automatic modes and 2. it must be a "normal" gun. by normal i mean a gun that is not rare and is not custom made (because i can get any "normal" guns for $100-300 less, depending on the gun)

So far the guns i'm considering are:

Bob Long Defiant
Bob Long Intimidator

Anyone want to add to my list?

ya i would say get a vision impulse, and since you want different modes just get a genisis board on it, and there you go you go a high quality paintball marker that will never never chop and has different modes of fire

(but you cant use any mode of fire other than semi in tournies or most rec fields)

why do you want automatic and burst modes? there pointless

if you dont care about semi only then you might want to look into the viking, looks like an excalibur, made by the same company but its a whole lot cheaper, MSRP is like 750 i think

Timmy's rock. That's how I went.

BTW, Timmys are generally regarded as a step up from Defiants. Think of it as a debugged Defiant with additional toys...

Also, maybe the firing modes are important to you. Do you play scenario games? Or have a field that lets you use enhanced firing modes. Can't say I've ever used my Timmy in anything other than semi, but you may be the kind of player who can get some use out of additional firing modes. So that might be a factor in your decision.

Defiant's are just Bob-Longed Bushmasters...They're still good guns. If you want a bushy, just stick with a 2k2 LCD.

I wouldn't recommend an impulse, my friend just got one and the solenoid went wonky so he had to send it in to SP. After a few weeks of waiting, he got it back with the feed tube broken off. Not fun. I haven't had good experiences with a matrix, but that's just me.

I would recommend either a bushmaster, Angel LED, or intimidator. You can't go wrong with either of those.

Talking Timmi all the way

The Timmi is defenitly the top contender mentioned here. Not only that. It has the best customer service as compared to any of the markers mentioned here. The price right now on the Timmi is just great! You could get one used.. here on these boards all set up for the amount your talking bout.. Or you could get a new one... for about 600.00 may beven less... with an HPA tank!

u got a freak set already? anyway i would redomend an impulse my teamate got one and he loves it, the trigger pull is shotty out of the box but for 115 u can get an A-frame wich does all kinds of cool stuff for ya, hes got about a 1000 into his with the freak and 114 4500psi tank u could easily trick an impulse out awsomne for 800 bucks and i garantee u it wont let u down. yeah everyones got their horror stories with each type of gun
