Question about buying a used Dye DM7

I was wondering what is the "service life" of this gun, along with if there is anything i have to worry about getting one of these. Looking at pictures i dont see any scratches or anything. He is asking 270, is that a really good price that i should jump on?

Dye is still in Business and realistically you can keep this "service life" going for as long as they keep eye pipes in stock.

the Gun looks clean but the barrel back is the old purple black annodizing that they were plagued with from the old days... This tells me that its not the original barrel that went with the marker.

The price is marginal. For a few bucks more you could get something really nice.

I paid $270 for my DM9, so I would say, no, $270 is not a great deal.

It always amazes me when browsing through the BST, that people are asking very reasonable prices for DM9-13, but people selling DM6-8 just can't seem to put an appropriate price on something that is really quite old.
