Dm9 efficency

I played today at a local field and was only getting about 800 shots off a 68 /4500 tank. Seems low for a dm. Question is how to increase efficiency and what could have caused this. I have a bwing in it as well. Also does the tank and tank regulator have any effect on this? I have a really old pure energy tank. It is rehydro and putting out about 550. I have never messed with the regulator on it or anything through.

Thanks

Just picked up the gun used. Battery has been used for like 2 days of play. I know the tank reg output is 550 but as stated its a tank from like 2005. Not sure what the gun settings are haven't messed with it yet. Paint was bored using a freak kit to fit but was crappy wasn't shooting that straight today

Stright or not, if ur boring right that solves half issue, try a fresh battery every time u play (it's a DM) like fresh batteries... Lube properly, check orings for wear and replace as needed, check ur reg and clean, (no one really does this) replace regseat if needed (prolly will need to)..... See if that helps... It should.... Maybe not 100% but should help abit....

I'm sure u know all of this... Just covering bases

Yeah I'm new to DM's just got back in the sport but I lubed the bolt before I went but today was my first time taking it to play so I didn't want to mess with the settings yet. I will order some reg seats and replace the lpr and the one in the hpr and see if that makes a difference. Will take a look at the board as well I have heard 21 dwell and 3 1/2 turns lpr

It shouldn't as long as there aren't actually any issues with the tank or the tank leaking.

I don't understand how your efficiency could be so low on a 68/45... I can shoot pods and pods off of one with my DM9.

Did you notice any leaking?

So my dm isn't shooting straight wanted to get input before spending money. Dm wasn't shooting straight last weekend. I have a freak barrel and kit on it. Paint was bored to fit .687 and was premium brand. Eye pipe was clean before shooting I did have one ball break in my hopper which I cleaned out and swabbed the barrel and it still wasn't shooting great. Is this due to the paint or I have read somewhere about other barrels besides the ultralight causing some kind of issue with the way the eye pipe lines up with the barrel.
