A 12 isnt required, but you will get more battery life, and if you get a new gun, it can keep up.

9volt are good but buying a 12volt would be a great investment so when you get real good with the cocker trigger and starting shooting fast you could shoot out the 9volt........and if you get a electro down the road you would need a 12volt!

Thumbs down

I agree. 9Vs are totally worthless. I have seen people out shoot them with their M98s. The only time I have ever outshot a 12v was when I was fanning the trigger of my teamates matrix, while it was set at 16 or 17 bps. That was pretty neat though, busted a ball and was shooting dead on after another 2 shots.

9v's are worthless, for only 10 bucks more you can get a 12v that will be so much better. Its worth the 10 bucks.

Wink Go for the 12v, 9 dont have enough power!

I bought a cocker 2k last october when i got back into the sport. I was given the choice of a 9 or 12v hopper with my marker deal. I took some advice and went for the 12v.

Glad i did. I saw a guy with a 9v, he changed the batteries twice in one day, the hopper just kept jamming and was slow to feed.

The 12v may cost a little more, but i have yet to see the servo burn out.

Hope that helps,
