So generally I clean my gear the night I get home from playing. If its been a month or more since I last played would you relube it before playing? or should it still be good to go?

If you have air then air up your gun.

if you don't then do the flick test. IF you cleaned it after your last day of play its not like the lube goes bad or anything. Your battery could be dead though

I always take out the battery after a day of play, even if I'm playing the next day or weekend. The solenoid will drain the battery because even if the gun is off it is still electrically active with the battery in.

With regards to lube, you should be fine as long as you did a good job last time. It never hurts to pop out the bolt and take a look at everything to make sure there is a thin covering on moving/touching parts and dryfire it a few times if you have air.

Most people probably use Dow33 (such as Dye Slick Lube and GR33SE), but some prefer thinner lubes like Hater Sauce.

If you don't want to get too technical just use Dow33 lube.
