extreme air cunsumption on DM10

Hi

I got a DM10 and during Winter I've been playing reball, during this time, i've noticed an extreme aircunsumption, it's like 1000 psi on a full hopper.

I've tried to turn Down the dwell and LPR, with no improvement.

Why is this so?

Can it be my regulators that needs to be rebuild? (hyper3 and LPR?)

Any other good ideas or solutions?

Have a nice day!

Dan

1. Check your airsystem for leaks
2. Check your macrolines and ASA for minor leaks
3. Check your FPS
4. Use small bore barrel 0.670-0.680

Some things may be affecting efficiency in winter.
When you fill your air system from a compressor/airbank this air will be warm and also your system will warm upp during filling. This means that airpressure will drop when the temperature in your tank is cooling down.
Also when you fire rapidly in cold weather, the tank and air will cool down meaning that each shot will use more volume of air at the same pressure therefore using more air than if it was warm. This will empty your tank quicker than usual.

no leaks at all!!!

i use bore .688, because it's the only barrel I got....
But is that enough to use use 1000 psi per hopper/pod? I practice indoor so its not THAT Cold...

No, they have no importance to your issue. if your gun is leaking at 3 1/2 turns you need to rebuild your LPR. thats why it's causing a huge air consumption

check my sig

hi yeah me again, I rebuild my LPR, and it helped on the efficiency, but the 3-3 turns is this WHEN the bolt has been sucked back? or is it when I have the LPR screwed all in? Hope this makes sense, My english skills sucks today

all guns are different so there is no real way to to know. you can either use the method where the bolt is sucked back, and work your way out or go with grss429's method.

TURN your lpr inward till you feel slight resistance and stop! then do 3 1/2 complete 360 turns

Yes. 3 1/2 is a good starting point, adjust from there to proper consistency.
