Are Old Paintballs Still Good?

I have about a case worth of Karnage Tear Paintballs that are at least 7 years old. Some of the paintballs have dimples. I was just wondering if they are still okay to use if I decide to bring them to a field next weekend. Also, is there a way to test if the paint is still good?

Lol that will be a miserable day. I would grab a bag of them and your barrel only and have fun using it as a blowgun in your backyard. You will have major ball breaks with those suckers. Buy a new case for $35 at your sporting goods store if you're on a budget.

Think you'd be better off throwing them instead haha that's crazy, did you forget them up there?

Nah. my local field closed awhile back so I never got to use them. It's been awhile since I played. I am going to Midway Paintball on the 17th for a birthday party. Busting out the good ol' 2k6 timmy. Should be mad fun.

Definitely toss them in the trash unless you plan on having probably the worst paintball experience ever

The paint might shoot but it wont be straight at all. My best advice... trash it.

The experience iv had with old paint was opposite... the shells were like rubber and crazy wild. I shot tree dead on from like 30' and like 3 or 4 of them bounced lol. But maybe it was because they were cheapo brand 30$ case sruff lol

DO NOT TAKE THAT PAINT TO THE FIELD! You will be shooting a heavier version of reballs. Paint becomes rubbery after that long and they will NOT BREAK ON ANYTHING!! If for some reason they are not too flat or dimpled and still shootable just use em for target practice at home.

You WILL hurt someone with those and put holes in air bunkers so please don't shoot them at someone.
