tipx barrel shroud ?

i know this has been asked but i cant find the postings, can you use the tipx marker without the barrel shroud in the gun. will it be safe or will the block come flying out. i know stupid question but i need a answer thanks.

Yes, you can run it without the barrel shroud. The block is held in place by the frame.

you can but why would you do that? just wondering why?

Makes sense, I you really feel the need you can always dremel out the inside of the shroud in order to fit bigger barrels.

I had a freak barrel on mine for a while. Without the shroud, you can run a barrel that is larger in diameter or has a thread adapter bigger than the shroud like a DW fibur.
