Best barrel set up for a Luxe?

Just got a new Luxe and I was wondering what the "CF Boomstick" of Ion threaded barrels is?

I want the BEST OF THE BEST

It's a carbon fiber broomstick barrel for ion threaded markers. Stock barrel is just fine

Your better off purchasing extra freak inserts for your stock barrel. It will give you a lot flexibility thana CF Boomstick that only has one bore size. It is also much cheaper and comparable in weight.

In all honesty, the LUXE barrel is completely okay by itself. If you really must though, Deadlywind and Shadow make nice ION threaded barrels.

You're not gonna find a carbon fiber Boomstick in ion threads. I'm pretty sure Boomsticks are all autococker threaded. Just pick up,a freak insert kit and call it a day. If you really want a Boomstick, buy an ion to autococker threaded barrel adapter.

You can buy old ion threaded dye barrel backs, but they only ever came in one size. But I agree, buy yourself a freak kit and call it a day.

Aluminum or SS? Does it matter? Only real difference I see in the two styles is Aluminum comes color coded.

SS is over rated, get the aluminum ones. Buy two or three for $30 and theres your barrel kit

The only "advantage" of ss is that it doesn't expand and contract as much with weather. But I have yet to hear of anyone who has any problems with the aluminum ones doing that

Thanks for the feedback! Think im going to buy the aluminum ones and just go with it until they give me a reason to need a SS set.

like most here i say just pick up a couple inserts for your stock barrel, or if you really want CF just get a deadlywinds whip tip, i hear those are really nice and quiet. i didnt think the CF boomy came in ion threading, i may be wrong but i think it only comes in AC doesnt it?

You are correct with the Boomy. I was looking for its Ion counterpart. Just want to be able to lay ropes with my marker and go close to un noticed!

He meant well, the carbon fiber boomstick is literally that, a sturdy carbon fiber barrel made by Dye Presicion that is Ion threaded , it's just named the "boomstick "

It's not even a real carbon fiber barrel, just has carbon wrap. Most over rated barrel out there

Its all subjective. Longer control bores will yield better accuracy.

Yeah and taking off the tip provides better porting and makes your shot wicked quiet. I play this way all the time, works great.
