Method injection adds a whole new system to supply it so it wouldn't change the normal fuel system. Method can add power but it is inferior to higher octane fuel like E85 or race gas. If your method system fails you can blow up your motor pretty quick.

Meth also isn't really a part of the fueling system, more of a supplement to the intercooler.

I ran meth on my wagon for a bit, wasn't really that beneficial to me though. Higher octane fuels such as E85 and 93 are becoming more and more rare. For example, they do not exist in the Hawaiian Islands.

Basically.

Methanol is great when used properly, but some people are unfamiliar with it and think the wrong thing. Usually that its the devil or that it is the best thing ever. In reality, it is right in between those two.

In other news my 240 made 400whp/342tq at 18psi (8.6:1 comp) tuner said we could throw 22-24 at it.
Pump gas 93
95* ambient temp

Meth is still asinine to use from a safety/reliability standpoint. All it takes is one crack in the reservoir or a bad line etc. and you're ****ed. I'd rather use nitrous instead of meth injection. Maybe on something that was strictly a track or fun car but never something that is driven daily or somewhat regularly.

meth is a **** ton cheaper than nitrous to get re filled.

do you still use the window washer fluid motors with meth?
