if you lane ALOT, i mean ALOT the spire will stall for a second and youll have to rock it a bit, or if your aiming at an awkward angle it will also stall, the spring ramp keeps the hopper feeding when you lane alot or when your gun is pointed at a weird angle without sacrificing capacity or profile, considering your title is "uncapped full auto" i would recommend it for you

I've been shooting a spire since last summer and went a couple months before picking up the ramp. I can say its definitely worth the few bucks. I would not get another spire without one. I encountered the spire w/o the ramp has an inner surface that is too flat and often times needs to be shaken for balls to go into the drive system. The spring ramp fixes it by folding flat when you have a full loader and coming up when you're running low on paint, pushing what's left into the drive system.

Wasnt a fan of the spring ramp. I really didnt think it worked to well. The tension on the spring was kind of weak.
