I now can make very quick changes to LPR and HPR settings using this, because I know I like to shoot @ the 285 mark and I set it there. Now I can check pressure and make changes according to how the tool reads.
Lower LPR = Smoother shot but you will need to set your HPR higher making it less efficient.
Higher LPR = increases "kick" but you can turn down HPR making it more efficient.
I am very new to "super" tuning DMs, but this is what I have found/figured out. I think this tool is great and I purchased mine off of Amazon for $49.95. I believe a "skilled" DM user wouldn't need one, but it is a slick tool.
I would love to hear some feedback on settings in terms of LPR and Dwell settings. (Stock Bilt and Billy Wing)
I am also considering the Billy Wing Bolt, but am on the fence about if it is necessary..??
wow... thats high.
Those rules are actually more like guidelines. After a certain point a high LPR will start making FPS go lower because of the pressure drop in the air channels.
keep playing with your gun. you will figure it out.
