Stock settings. Played with the dwell and such but didn't see any difference. Just reset to stock.

took my etha out to play, right out of the box i was playing in cold weather and was gettin quite a number of chops. i upped my dwell by 2 and i stopped chopping. changing the dwell just a little is all i had to do to make it shoot buttery tits

I think if anything, upping the dwell can make for a smoother shot because the bolt is forward longer, so you can lower the pressure a tad.

Downsides? Slower cycling rate and often times less efficient.

More air but at lower pressure = less air but at higher pressure. At least that's my logic.

as mentioned earlier, stock settings are usually pretty good. with my etha, however, I did have to up the dwell a little bit (to prevent chops) and also up the debounce, as I was getting some wild trigger bounce (which could very well have something to do with how lightly i set my trigger). either way, the only way to really know what to adjust is to take it out and play with it a few times. you will not be able to adjust it right out of the box to hit that "sweet spot" without playing some games with it.

i suggest you take note of what you think you want to improve with your marker as you are using it on the field, then report back on here and I'm sure you will get much more specific answers for improving your etha's performance. good luck!

If you set your trigger light like I do, you may want to lower the debounce to 1 or 2 (I believe stock is 3). If you aren't worried about semi-auto play, jusy play on PSP and leave the trigger and debounce alone. I'd leave Dwell at the stock setting of 12 unless you are having problems chopping paint. Like an earlier poster said, it can help smooth your bolt's movement, especially in cold weather play. Honestly, once temps hit above 45, I never have any issues with chop, so no need to change the dwell. You want to shoot ropes? By good paint. That is literally the best thing you can do for your Etha. Out of box, the Etha is a great marker, especially for the price, and unless you are having odd issues, you shouldn't have to adjust anything.
