Good: WORKS ON ANDROID without having to install apps and codecs and wait for some guy to provide special links.

Bad: mostly just the camera angles, would make more sense to copy the psp in this regard.

Good Stuff: They provided a free webcast to watch some paintball.
Bad: The "professional teams" don't all seem to be on a pro level. Ie Dynasty walking over Contact. Commentators, very, very poor. I respect the people commentating, (Ryan Greenspan, Tyler Harmon, etc), but it just seems very unorganized, not sure what is going on in the game, etc. Camera angles, not the greatest. Not really impressed, but it is their first event. Hope they get it fixed

Webcast is laggy as hell and VERY unprofessional. Like seriously? "Makes u wonder why they even showed up" ur a new league so u shouldn't be making fun of other teams just cuz ur dynasty. Camera angles suck and tbh these "pros" other then dynasty, heat, and crush don't even look like pros at all. Just my input

That's like saying.

"You kids need to stop *****ing, you just ate **** all day, every meal, FOR FREE! Shut it."

Here's the difference, PBA does the same thing, live, free, all day. But from day one for their broadcasting they took the time to plan, start it on time, organize their commentators, didn't talk to people off screen during broadcast, didn't play the same commercial 8000 times that was mixed with it's volume wayyyy to high, actually have commentators that can clearly state the flow of the gameplay, and have indications on what team is what and how many points/bodies/penalities they have.

I understand it's their first broadcast, but when my local highschool runs a broadcast for the chess team better than a better budgeted paintball stream (THAT HAS SPONSORS LIKE VALKEN), that's just sad.

You obviously were not around when the webcasts were babies. All of them started in a very similar manner to what APL is doing. The PBA team was working as a PSP team long before PBA came to be, and the original productions there were also way below the bar they set today.

Besides it being on the d side the angles aren't that bad. Let's all remember the psp webcast from like 3 years ago when they started and not the newest pba webcasts.

What do you guys think about the camera quality? How about some CC so we can make this thing better instead of whining!

I was, I remember the older broadcast pre PBA. But here's what they did differently, they learned what other broadcasts did wrong and showed a quality product from their official take over of PSP streaming media.

APL has a template to work with, they did nothing near that.

To be honest I didn't even see your post so I wasn't referring to it. Stuff like that actually helps, unlike saying how much the teams suck. Unfortunately as a camera man I can make any teams better magically. I have yet to watch the webcast, I've hear it's better than the old nppl webcasts, but far from the pba webcast. Hopefully we can take steps in the right direction to make it better.

And I'm pretty sure we started on time. I guess I could be wrong though.

I always love free, the webcast is given to us for free so we cant complain. However watching the 'pros' play is cringe worthy, so many people there buying their spot and not deserving it.

It no longer looks like the NPPL security cameras if you will, so that's a plus. More entertainement for me so I can't complain.
