Definitely interested in how that works out for you. I've been thinking about making some parts for my impulse for ages.

That just looks so weird to me. There's something about the 09 that just looks... wrong if it doesn't look stock. I got the same vibe from the one that had the snatch grip milled off.

Apart from all that, nice work. I'm definitely intrigued by your future plans for mods.

biggest thing the gun needs is a new upper body with a real threaded feedneck. The feedneck is useless thus making the gun useless.

Thanks cliff,

Might need to send a second endcap out to you for threading. The current design is not balanced and would hate to add kick and make a TI ram useless

Turned directions on this. Once I can get the above threaded then I will continue with the slimmer design.

Still need to chrono but 7turns out on main, 2out on second and dwell at 8 has it pretty smooth

Once you get everything perfected, make a full second set for me!

I've always wanted to get rid of the useless torpedo. Also want to get rid of the snatch grip and put a scythe trigger in, and might as well trim the trigger guard slimmer while I'm at it. My feed neck hasn't come loose yet, but a cocker threaded body with ego feed neck mount that use eclipse detents and had no internal body Orings would be sweet. This would allow an upgrade bolt as well with maybe a launch tip on it and more reliable bolt mounted orings.

Also want a plug to replace the over pressure relief valve on the bottom of the foregrip. It's poorly designed and needs eliminated.

Mine is running a valve with an oring added to the valve core instead of the poppet/stem. It's very reliable, but it has made the poppet stem stick out less into the ram tube. I'm still getting smooth shots with better efficiency, but I would rather have an adjustable ram or poppet to make the valve open further for lower pressure.

I'd love to help collaborate on this, I have lots of ideas and am willing to buy a second set of stuff off you for my own 09!

Im looking at just getting the best out of the impulse now. Ordered some more Nylon for new poppet and "poppet guide", as I am calling it.

I was able to get the above design shooting around 250fps(no chrono still looking for one) HPR was 6.5, LPR 3, dwell at 6ms

It's hard to tell, but is the latest version balanced? I'm assuming it is based on the fact that it has the o-ring on the opposite side from the valve. How strong is the new valve spring you're using?

If you'd like some free suggestions, PM me and I'll tell you how to make it more efficient and seal well. If you provide the critical dimensions, I'll render it up in 3D CAD and send you the files.
