Milsig 17

Just thought I'd point out that this is finally a thing.

So freaking thrilled for this!

It's like- "You like what we did by producing the M-series ELITE? Well guess what's next!"

Holy ****. And having the CQC model starting under $500 is mind-blowing. Although- I am going for the XD Carbine set-up myself

I'M JUST SO STOKED FOR THIS!

The only thing I'm left wondering is, performance wise, what's the difference between the three? Apart from aesthetics, what's stopping me from getting the CQC and slapping a better milsig barrel on it? It'd save me $250, too.

This thing looks sick. Love that they got closer to realism. This and a SAR-12 and I'd be happy.

Looking at the website it looks like its basically just cosmetic changes between them. They all run with HEAT cores, tank-in-stock, etc.

They look great and having the base model come in at $300 is phenomenal. I wonder how much the square head mags are. That will probably be a deciding factor for a lot of people.

Any idea what the Node regulator is? Is it a regulator you screw onto your tank, or is it a specialized 13/3000 tank that MilSig is producing?

It might be the regulator built into the HEAT core. The regular HEAT core has a reg built in, and I see a similar assembly on the M17. Although on the M17 if faces down instead of to the side.

The reason I'm confused is that the DMR specifically mentions it in the 'included' list, but the other two don't.

The Node reg is the actual reg on the air tank- it just has a built in, twist On/Off check valve

The main difference between the CQC and the XDC is that the XDC comes with the Marksman barrel, full 6061 T6 aluminium body, full aluminium shroud, and the neoprene case. Most of the CQC is composite in comparison.

The XDC is pretty much just a package deal with (mostly) all aluminium parts, upgraded barrel, and case. I think the pricing was wise- especially since the XDC is only $150 more than the M-series ELITE and yet it has the full metal shroud and marksman barrel. I think it's worth it

It's actually only $50 more, so definitely worth it.

Thanks for the clarification on the Node. I didn't see that.

I think the CQC is an awesome deal by itself. Not positive that the XDC would be worth the extra cost for me. The extra $$$ could go towards more mags.

I'm so torn between the two. On one hand, I love the aesthetics of the XDC, but the price difference is huge.

I think that the XDC is the replacement for the M-ELITE, so I think it's worth it (cause even the M-ELITE only came with one FS mag and one .68 mag). So, applying the same logic- I do see the CQC as the MK3 replacement and the DMR to the Para Pro.

As with the M-ELITE, I think the XDC is geared towards Milsig die-hards who already have mags.

Also- we might see a CQC Player's Pack?? ()

yeah I just think personally i'd rather get the CQC and load up on mags. I carry 6+1 mags currently with DMAGs, so if I went to Milsig I'd like to carry a similar loadout.

I just bought a para pro because i had not heard anything about the M17 release...oh well looks like the cqb can be had for $300. That would actually work out perfect using my para pro as a FSR dedicated gun and get the cqb for regular paint. I dont see myself shooting FSR in full auto, not that it wouldn't be fun but i dont think i could afford it,lol. Can't wait to see some reviews on these.

Wonder if it can use Co2.
Remove the stock, screw In a 12 gram bucket, and you've got a nice light magfed pistol.

It's got a heat core, so it's HPA only, unfortunately. You could always do a remote line, then take off the shroud and add a shorter barrel, though. Could turn out pretty nice.

I'm gonna just get the cqc and buy a marksman barrel for it because that's the big difference between the cqc and the xdc

That and the XDC is all metal where the CQC has a lot of composites. But PE proved with their Etha that metal isn't required.
