So no new settings ...
************** "Original" New (Vic Settings) What works well for me:
Debounce ... ******12ms ****** 2ms *********** 12ms
Mech Debounce ...***04 ******* 03 ************* 04
Trigger Filter ... **** 06 ******* 06 ************** 06
Dwell:*********** 9ms ****** 12ms ************ 10.5ms
Bolt Delay: ******* 25ms ***** 15ms ************ 25ms
BD Delay: ******** 8ms ****** 8ms ************* 8ms

So I assume, there is still the Timer, setting for 68 and 50 caliber, text settings, and the factory reset?

So no new settings ... and it doesn't look like anything changed ... I wonder if the ramping settings changed? Interesting.
The only change I see is it is set to I'm guessing Semi Capped at 10.5 from the original semi uncapped setting.

I just took my Multicam Insight set it to the new Victory settings above and it behaved exactly the same as the newer Insight I received a few weeks ago. It would not pick up every trigger pull on Semi, and it would not Ramp ... well, it wouldn't sustain a ramp ... It would shoot a few, then pause ... like it wasn't seeing the paint, although it was ... it would exhibit the exact behavior that a few of you have reported.
Reset it to the original settings minus the Dwell I set to 10.5ms and it shot perfect again.
I honestly think it is a board settings issue and how they are interacting with the Insight Engine. It is the only thing that makes sense to me. It is reproducible on multiple Insights using the Victory Settings ... I'll try the BCA insight and see if it does the same thing.
I call them Victory settings because my newest VIS came with the 5.19bd flash and was set to
Debounce: 02ms
Mech Debounce: 03
Trigger Filter: 06
Bolt Delay: 15ms
Those setting work just fine with both the VIS and Vcom Engines, but seem to cause issues with the Insight engine.
I'll report back what the BCA Insight does with these Vic settings. I suspect I will see similar behavior.

UPDATE finally got a full days play with my insight I had replaced the bolt sail gasket I think thats the name not sure had no hiccups what so ever. I was using a 450 psi tank. What notices now was of a 4500 fill on a 68 tank I only got 10 pods. What is everyone averaging when it comes to pods.

What is your presser set to and your Dwell.
Assuming we are talking "normal" 140 round pods:
I get around 13 pods off a 68/45 using a Dwell of 10.5 and 160ish pressure to shoot 285 which is the field limit. Hustle saw 14 pods off a 68/45 with a Dwell of 9.

For me, the Insight is my primary primary ... the VIS is the secondary primary with others thrown into the mix from time to time.
The insight is my primary marker. My backup used to be my alias, but now my backup is my dragon G6R. I did just get an angel g7 fly that I will probably use for a good bit since I just got it, but my insight is definitely my go to gun.

I always fill up after each game or every other point just because I have time. I have not actually done a full efficiency test yet.

Played another tournament on Saturday. Insight shot good. Had a few barrel breaks toward the end of the day, but no breech breaks which is good. Spire is working great with the Insight.

I assume the stock Dwell is 12ms? I would try shortening that up a tad since we are moving into the warmer months. Try 10.5 and see if that helps. The pressure of 170ish tells me there isn't any significant drag in the engine.

Hey pink, I was thinking that it might be beneficial to have the proper board settings added to the first post. That seems to be the cause of most people's problems and instead of having to dig through all of these pages to find settings it would be easier to find. Just a thought.

What are your board settings? Do they match what is on the first page?

For your trigger,
check your trigger springs, screw out the stopper screw a little farther from the activation point.

So, I am at 5.1 Board Firm Ware,

I assume I should just **** with it until it works after factory resetting everything. Anyone else have any better ideas other than sending it in for the time being?

Try it out and see if it works. There is no point in sending it in if you don't need to.

I just got my insight today, and when I take off the hpr it's all one piece??? I don't see the "trader valve"? Isn't it supposed to part on the ribbet area on the grip? Mine is seriously stuck together. Also I have the 5.19bd flash can someone give me the settings I should put it on? After looking through this whole clubs post I'm still not sure which to set my settings to.

For settings you can refer to the ones listed either on the top of this page or the first page. From how I understand it the ones you want to use are either the first column or last column.

Here is a break down of the HPR. Part A (in the second picture) is supposed to stay attach to the gun and houses the schrader valve (not trader valve ). However, if it does all come off in one piece it's not the end of the world. Try and use a jar opener or a vice with a towel in it if its really stuck.

Thanks man, if I can't get the hrp to unscrew with this be an issue? Will I need to perform any maintenance on it? It's got me really bummed out that I can't get it unscrewed...to the point to where I want to sell a perfectly new insight.

It shouldn't be an issue right now. You only need to relube the hpr every 5 cases, so aslong as nothing goes wrong inside the hrp you should be fine. Even then you can go a little over that if needed.

That being said, after all is said and done and you still can't get the top part off you can try using blue loctite on the top part, screw it back on the gun, let it cure for 24 hours, and see if you can unscrew the bottom after that. This is something that I just thought of and have never herd of anyone doing this, but I don't see why it wouldn't wor unless loctiting that part is bad. This method should be a last resort though.

Please no B/S/T within the thread.

I had to use a couple of strap wrenches to get mine apart the first time.
