How about a durability test? How much beating can the radar take? Will it consistantly work after getting shot multiple times at 300fps, point blank and from a distance, in the front of the hopper where the radar is located? Id love to see a shooting video of the radar taking on a case of paint.Great review and pics btw! Appreciate the work.

$250 ball agitator. How did hoppers become so expensive these days? Are their shells the same heavy-duty plastic like the old revi hoppers? I like my hoppers to feel like this

Would it be possible to fill all the hoppers with the same amount of paintballs and weigh them full. Then show the percent different the weight is in the big scheme of things. While it looks large empty, the actual amount of weight added with paint seems like it would be a hard to notice weight difference?

Chris from Virtue explained it to me. He said that the chronos read the fps about 2-3 inches in front of them. This is why the Pulse is a little faster as the ball is still in the barrel as apposed to just leaving the barrel, the Virtue Clock.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Love the break down of the loader. You guys did a great job. Now if GI can just get of these in the IL facility and I can drive up and pick a few up.

Considering this loader can double as a chronograph, has a screen for adjustment, has super tough shells and can display a shot count, there is some good value there. Other loaders are getting around that price with without many of those features.

Thanks for the comparison!
It looks the same as the chrono is mounted to the front of the tray inside the loader. The chrono piece only weight 0.5oz so it's not even a noticeable difference when removed.

As much as I would LIKE to test those things, I can't do that with our store demo model. Maybe if GI wants to give me one to beat the ever loving **** out of I can do it or I can do it once i get mine in. The thing you guys need to remember is that the chrono unit is housed inside the loader behind the nose cone, it is not exposed in any way.

Clearly you have not felt one of these loaders yet. The Pulse feels extremely sturdy and durable in the hands and not at all like a cheap "toy". The second I grabbed the Pulse I instantly had the feeling I could beat the hell out of it and it would be ok.

I never owned an original pulse, but it does do a small pulsation to try to feed from what I can see. Hardly noticeable to me but I'm sure some people will whine about it.

I can do that no problem at all. I'll post up some pics and let you know when done.

Firstly, great write up, you covered basically everything there is to know about the loader. Heres my question: What does this loader bring to the table that others don't? Its the heaviest, with an average capacity. This is a loader first and foremost, the chrony is just an extra feature, and I fail to see any incentive to purchase this over the other top tier loaders.

Take the spire for example, it set out to beat the rotor and quiet frankly it does. It's lighter and is able to attain a higher capacity while maintaining a profile that is just as small if not smaller than the rotor. That combined with the huge feed, integrated anti-jam, and the spring-feed, it is clear that the spire set out to fix many of the rotors flaws.

What does this do better than the 2? Be being on par or arguably worse than the existing competition doesn't seem to promote the longevity of this product.

Without the element of ingenuity (the chrony doesn't count since it has no effect on the loaders ability to function as a loader), I personally believe that it would be foolish of anyone to purchase this over a rotor or spire for any other reason than just to try it.

I don't mean for this to be a hypercritical comment, but rather an expression of personal opinion. Just trying to wrap my head around this product.

Maybe this has already been addressed but I see ANS has the RDR and the STD. What it the difference? RDR has chrono and STD does not?

ANS show the exact same description for both. They're usually pretty vague when describing things both in text and video.
