CCM SR-1 pics

We were lucky enough to have some guys from CCM at our last scenario game a few months back, and the let us use Bobs personal SR 1 mag fed bolt action marker as part of the events "Top Shot" competition....shooting First Strike rounds, the accuracy was outstanding even at long range. Super fun to play with!

The mag looking thing on those is the regulator and 12 gram chamber.

Though since the shots are held in individual shells I would call them mag fed, the mags just happen to hold one round.

Its a bit of a grey area as to whether its a true "mag fed" or not...but - the thing is freaky accurate. Almost scary accurate. We had guys hitting water bottle-sized targets at 75' consistently with single aimed shots & First Strike rounds (once you got the range figured out)...longer ranges with person sized targets.
A couple of shots to get the feel & then down to business...
The SR1 might not be to everyones taste, but it can be a ton 'o fun if you take the time to use it right.

Looks like a spring-loaded round ejector tube on the barrel? Good idea.

That is my only peeve about the CCM rifle. Yea, ejecting an "empty casing" is cool and all, but in a real game I don't want to be having to keep track of machine aluminum casings that probably ain't cheap enough to be considered even semi-disposable.

There's no disputing the accuracy of this rifle though. Everyone says they shoot very nice.
