I haven't had a chance to try my vis engine yet. Been too happy with the spool. Going to be my first time with it this weekend. Hope I like it too!

I believe they have no plans in selling the vis engine alone. Only way is to buy a new vcom/vis marker with the vis engine or if you get lucky, find one in a private sale. There were two in the b/s/t, but both are sold.

Got a package from BLAST today with their new secret sauce lube for the VIS. They also got their barrel covers in so I picked a few of those up as well. Nice to see Bob joining everyone else finally with his own case and barrel cover!

Both of mine came with the same, so I assume those are the three standard back sizes they come with.

Thanks! I just read the Victus comes with .688 as the smallest, good to know the VIS comes with two smaller backs. I guess I almost never need sth bigger than .689..

As long as it doesn't swell o-rings, I think you will be okay.

Is it recommended to put tri flow on the bolt tip o rings? I'm coming over from the timmy world and nothing seems to note to do this when re lubing the engines.

I've used lurker lube on both the vis and vcomm engines. The vis still had plenty of lube left after a couple cases. The vcomm was shooting fine after three cases, but the orings were just wet with no leftovers.

Lurker in the cold worked out pretty well on the vis engine, no cold testing on the vcomm lurker combo yet.

Wow ... dude ... you should have told me and I would have let you borrow one of my testers. I would recommend getting a better LPR gauge so you can pinpoint the pressures ... Was this with the VIS engine?
