The trigger on ths GSL is a blade style vs scythe on the Geo 3/3.1 I think.

Gsl has a quick release bolt, a new bolt (st3) supposedly quieter and more efficient, normal sl version stuff (barrel kit, trigger, eportal, limited edition, etc), and a color matched at pipe. Personally, it's all silly and get a 3.1 with a boost kit and a 16" tip, and get the same performance

GSL has the quick release bolt style, a new bolt design, slimmer milling, different style triggers, a barrel kit, and the prestige of being called an "SL". The price difference is at least 500 more for the GSL.

Minimal differences but a whole lot of money.

Minimal differences in the gun* is what you mean.

The pricing is a whole lot more, because it comes with special milling, matching barrel kit and 2 triggers. It's also limited edition.

GSL and 3.1 are probably great guns but lets be honest. They all shoot paint.

You didn't specifically say it was just the gun. You just said one was a lot more expensive. (A little vague)

I was just stating that you get a lot more with a GSL than just the gun. Which is why it's more expensive.

Think of the geo 3.1 as a geo 3 because the internals are pretty much the same, the only difference is that it has a new trigger frame and reg. But no one that Im aware of has shot the gsl so you cant really tell, and its really hard to compare a SL version of a gun to the base model.

Except for the fact that you can see that they upgraded the engine and put a quick release system on the engine....so, those are your differences really. Well except for the goodies you get from an SL version of course. It was a letdown to me that they weren't going to give the Geo3.1 the upgraded engine, just with the normal engine removal system. Not for me, but my friends that own 3.0s and won't be able to get ahold of a GSL before they are gone...

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand having a noticeable difference between two different lines of gun. SL vs Geo or Ego, but I just wish'd the 3.1 would get some engine enhancements over what the 3.0 has. I would still see the GSL with the nicer milling, colors, extras, quick release, and extra triggers being worth 350-400 more than a 3.1 that comes with the older engine removal and not all the extras as well as the same milling as the 3.0. Not to mention the GSL is a "limited edition" which you can slap on the side of a Ford Pinto and they'll sell again, lol!
