Except for the fact that you can see that they upgraded the engine and put a quick release system on the engine....so, those are your differences really. Well except for the goodies you get from an SL version of course. It was a letdown to me that they weren't going to give the Geo3.1 the upgraded engine, just with the normal engine removal system. Not for me, but my friends that own 3.0s and won't be able to get ahold of a GSL before they are gone...
Don't get me wrong, I completely understand having a noticeable difference between two different lines of gun. SL vs Geo or Ego, but I just wish'd the 3.1 would get some engine enhancements over what the 3.0 has. I would still see the GSL with the nicer milling, colors, extras, quick release, and extra triggers being worth 350-400 more than a 3.1 that comes with the older engine removal and not all the extras as well as the same milling as the 3.0. Not to mention the GSL is a "limited edition" which you can slap on the side of a Ford Pinto and they'll sell again, lol!
