What's sad IMO the Z2 isn't as good as a V2 in certain important things.
1. weight -- example my dura-coated V2 with 280 rnd nose with 9v Hi-tech batteries only weights in at 536 grams and a Z2 with a small 200rnd nose is like 530 grams. Subtract the paint and my older unit is lighter and holds more paint.
2. Loss of magnetic ball assist - the V2 has the ability to push the ball stack without the help of the motor thus speeding up snap shooting the first 4 balls very quickly while the motor is activating to start feeding balls.
3. Loss of the built in RF chip - this is great for quiet markers like a LUXE or my Vcom due to the looow kick and quiet nature of those markers. The RF also gives instant feedback to the hopper to load balls.
4. Custom ball tension -- the drive cone with adjustable magnets helped to fine tune the ball stack tension depending on paint and play style.
I personally run a RF, 280rnd , digi painted V2 shells and internals with Z2 backbones for the added benefit of a solid feed neck with Hi-tech lithium-ion rechargeable 9v batteries. Works Great.
I would love for the next loader they come out with to incorporate a lighter smaller version of the V2 magnetic ball delivery system and include RF.
I find it interesting so much importance was put into the Z2 for fixing jams when in nearly 5 years of using my V2s, I have only had two jams due to debris getting into the hopper from the speed feed opening.
