I am willing to place an order for custom team barrels

Just PM how much for 7 kits...

Smooth tip , as discussed in previous posts I
would like to see, what little custom tweaks we could do ?

Is laser engraving possible?

Let me know,

Tip savers, machine some delrin to thread over the tip to protect the barrel front from bunker rub on the scenario fields - how many of you have ever had a barrel or purchased a barrel that looks like it was dragged across the parking lot on the tip of it.

Styg

The beauty of removable tips is that I can do many different styles for people that like different things.

One thing that was very clear when I was researching to do this barrel is that people like the tip of the barrel to look different ways for different reasons or different uses.

This way I can make options for everyone. And because it's removable I can do it in a very affordable and easy to try way without someone having to pay for the cost of a sized front again.

Heck, I could even do custom runs of tips for a team look/style/event/etc.

I am even looking to open source the CAD for the important dimensions for the tip so that people can make or design their own.

Can you post pics of it on a marker? Specially with a camera mounted on the barrel?

any chance for shorter fronts? 14" barrel and the a 2" tip is a little unmanageable to me. I run 10-12" barrels. Anything longer and I find myself hitting everything with my barrel. Either way looks awesome

I think the knurled tip might appeal to the milsim crowd. Reminds me a lot of the thread saver on my last pistol

For reference

The best way will be to order through your local dealer. As we get set up with these I'll let everyone know who will be selling them. For anyone looking to be a dealer we have an application on our webpage.

I don't have laser engraving in house, but there are many great services out there. I am a big fan of Chris at Contract Killers.

Or just replace the stock barrel tip when it gets worn with another one.

I will do that as soon as I have the production intent units finished.

I am making a few small changes. Tweaking the o-ring fits between the parts, and moving to machine engraved logo's and sizing so that even if you anodise the polished raw barrels (or re-ano the matte ones) you don't lose the bore size

Once that is done and I have everything finished I will post a lot more pictures.

There are no plans for anything less than 14" currently and to do this we would need to make all the bore sizes in that smaller length which is something I am nervous about having to make and stock right now.

If things go well there is no reason we won't consider this as a limited run in the future though.

Axe bodies will likely be extremely limited.

I think that is our initial plan for the very slimline tip. That way it also works as a thread saver if someone want to put them on their spare tips (although the rigid plastic packaging tube does a great job of protecting the barrel parts also).

Looking forward to picking up an Axe body (hopefully). Been saving so I can afford it.

Any chance you'd consider making aluminium slimline tips? I think it'd be pretty cool to see some split anno barrels, back and thread saver in one color, front in the other.

Best part is you are looking out for those of us who need/want bigger bore options. I haven't used smaller than a .694 in a long time.

Simon,
Are you going to offer these in multiple colors or go the Henry Ford route?
"Any color as long as it's black"

I remember you've said you'd offer raw for custom anno but anything "from the factory?"

Although some people feel that there should only be small bore barrels available the reality is that for some people, and some paint there is still the need for the larger sizes.

The system will be "a la carte" so if you only want small bores, or only want large bores, you can do that. Any choice you like.

Each piece will come in a rigid protective tube so it takes the least space in your gear bag as possible. We may do a soft wrap later on that holds those rigid tubes but soft goods are definitely not our forte so that may or may not happen (and soft goods usually take a long lead time).

Matte black and polished raw. The polished raw can be turned into anything you like from matte colours to polished colours.

Later on we may end up offering other colour choices made from the polished raw barrels but I don't see that happening any time soon.

We will leave the colour matching and awesome anno to those custom houses that do it best.

Same. I've got things in the works to be able to move on one of these as soon as they're available.

How come both barrel backs in the picture are different from each other? Like one looks more milled down than the other?

In the very first picture, the shadows kind of mask some of the milling a little bit. Pictures further down the first post show the cuts are all identical.

Saw these at Cup. Simon was nice enough to step away from his booth and explain the system and how it all would work. The dedication this man has for paintball is like no other. He is here for us, the player. He listens to us and knows what we need.

From the long control bore to a front that makes complete sense now that it has been explained, this system should be great. I really dig the porting and tips.

I as well as many others are excited to get these on our markers.

Thanks for another awesome product Simon!
