Does the EGO9 fire at all or just the first shot after being gased up?

Change battery.
Make sure board is not on (t) = training mode.
Swap out the #11 rammer oring.
Make sure LPR is assembled properly.

Still spins, but shoots beautifully. No idea what screw you are talking about or where it could possibly go:

It's fine. I was thinking mayne I got some kind of concept gun haha. It was early, I give you a get out of haul free card, just messin. After reading the whole HPR thread on here, people were having the sane issue with it spinning freely within the body. I guess I'll keep my eyes peeked if there's any kind of solution.

Your adjustment screw is out too far take a wrench or pliers to hold the LPR body on the flats and break it loose and then turn it in 1.5 turns. That gun is going to shoot like a cannon with your LPR that high.

I've fixed it since then. Had just put it back in for pictures of the lack of a screw or screw hole in the body. I had just cleaned the LPR. Thanks for the advice though!

I just bought an ego 11 on ebay and it arrived yesterday. Of course I was going to take it apart and see how good of condition everything was in. I made it as far as the rammer, which is stuck in the body. It gets so close to coming out but then seems to get jammed on nothing. There are some slight scratches and pits in the housing where the previous owner tried to get some leverage to pry it out as well as some marks from a pliers on the end of the rammer where they tried to pull it.

How should I go about removing the rammer? What sort of risk is involved? Should I just return it for a refund?

09 EGO Possible Board Issue

Good Morning,

I have a collectors edition EGO 09 that I rarely use as a back up. It has under 15,000 shots on it.. However.. I have recently been experiencing issues with the marker turning on.. I have changed multiple batteries. Sometimes it turns on.. sometimes it doesnt.. when it does.. it shoots like a dream.. but if I turn it off... I run the risk of not having it turn back on. Some one advised me to check if any "plugs" were loose.. I checked but have found nothing to that effect. Could it be that I may need to aquire a new board?

Thank you for your time in advance,

Javier

I just received a Vicious Ego11 in the mail today. Upon airing it up, the gun has a pretty sizable leak coming from the exhaust port on the reg. I lubricated the main o-ring with no luck. The gun itself is barely getting any air. It is just puffing. Brand new Duracell battery is in the gun and the tank pressure is adequate.

So,It's an 06 Nexus Ego. While removing the bolt, the tiny spring loaded metal piece flew off and I can't seem to find it on the floor. What piece is that?

I have a CSL, and I am in need of a cam screw that attaches the frame. I either twisted it off by turning it the wrong way (probably) or the previous owner had overtightened. It's too late for speculation, I just need to know how/where to purchase...

I just serviced my regulator yesterday for this very same issue. One, I was using LP with a high pressure valve. Not a huge deal, but I put the right tank on and it still leaked. I lubed the PISTON and replaced the rings, and bam, it was fixed. I will admit however that I had to try two different oils before it worked.

Exclamation Ego 8 won't shoot

Hey guys quick question ... I have this ego 8, never gave me any problems, lubbed it correctly every time ... But all of a sudden, it won't shoot at all ... Tank is mounted correctly, trigger is adjusted and I even turned off the eyes to see if it shoots any air and nothing ... The bolt cocks back and it's pressurozed, but simply won't shoot ... Any suggestions ? Thanks

Ego 8.... looking for a good tool that will hold upper half of the HPR body while unscrewing the lower half to seperate the two.
Ive used slip joint pliers with rubber jaws to protect the anno, but for some reason this one is extremely tight and even the rubber is failing to prevent the jaws marking up the anno.
Need something better...

Sounds like what happened to me. I bought a whole new regulator adjuster assembly and that did the trick.

Hey Bill, I have an 09 ego. I am thinking of changing the board my screen has a crack in it and its becomming annoying. Would a virtue Etek OLED board fit? or would a Tadao Yakuza Series USB OLED Ego 9/10 Board be a better bet?
Thanks for the help.

I always recommend Stock but if you are going aftermarket, I would stick with the Tadao EGO9 that was produced for your marker.

Is the side of the piston nicked up? If it has scrape marks, you may need to change it.

When I come across a reg like this I put the top in a vice using a large rubber piece for grip and so it wont mark. Once you get it apart, use some grease on the threads to prevent it from happening again.
