- Swap out 2 of the rammer orings. #9 in the front, #11 in the rear (see page 55/56 of your manual).
- Please check the LPR to be sure it is assembled correctly (page 53/54 of the manual). Also while you have it apart inspect the piston. There should be a small plastic-like piece pressed into the skinny end of the piston shaft. This is called the LPR piston regulator seat.
- Inspect the front QEV caps on the QEV block. If you overtighten the rear grip cover screws it will bend/break them (page 65, figure 17.1).
- Check the front QEV diaphragm. Be sure it isn't cut or torn. It should be one solid piece (page 64/65 of the manual).

Swap out the #8 oring inside the HPR adjuster assembly.

Ego11 won't fire, dry or otherwise. Checked bolt, eyes on/off. Fired about 20-30 balls, then a couple just fell out if barrel and won't do anything now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have an 08 ego that just started leaking out of the hole on the inline reg. I stripped it apart and replaced the oring and put it back together and appears to not have helped. Is there something else that can be done? What other replacement inline regs work with an ego 8..if worse comes to worse?

So i have an EGO 11 and it does not cycle. My teammates and I took it apart and checked everything, however everything seems to function properly. The air is not leaking, regulator and LPR are both holding the pressure, the bold is pressurized, the trigger registers-and when the eyes are turned off the shot count does increase, I tried replacing the battery and that doesnt help at all, the gun does not cycle. My teammates think that it is the solenoid that is the issue, and when the eyes are turned off it does not click-there is also another EGO 11 that I looked at and its solenoid doesnt make a sound either. Any suggestion on what I should do?

Oh and I also looked at the inside and the bolt, all the O-rings are there and all the parts are present. The cosmetics of the gun inside and outside look great, i really do not know what the issue is however.

So I just picked up a used ego11 locally and I've been having a few issues.

First and foremost, the gun won't shoot above 260fps. I've set the entire gun back to stock, LPR two turns in from flush, solenoid settings as the manual states, reset factory defaults on the board, zero'd out the HPR and changed the battery several times. I went over a chrono and slowly raised it from 0 to its max position and it slowly increased until it hit 255fps at the reg's maxed out position (didn't get that high at any point between 0 and maxed). I haven't broken into the gun to poke around yet, and figured I would ask here on what I should be looking for that could cause this issue? It seems to shoot fine, just shooting a really low FPS.

Secondly, I am getting a broken battery indicator on the board (like shown in the picture here: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3841077). I have changed the battery, several different types and it still has the same indicator, I don't see any gunk on the connectors themselves and the gun seems to be functioning fine other than the low velocity. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

The only upgrades on the gun are virtue eyes, cure 4 bolt and a violent trigger, figured I should mention those in case they could be the culprit. Thanks in advance!

so Eclipse has spoken about dryfiring the LV1 but now I see this:
http://www.ansgear.com/Planet_Eclips...flercocker.htm

so will this allow a dryfire test when teching the LV1?

The muffler will give the back pressure needed for the marker. It is ok for a few shots at a time, not 1000's!

I would contact Gerry.b@planeteclipse.com about the battery indicator.
As far as the velocity it could be a number of items...
Swap out the rammer orings.
Swap out or flip over the HPR reg seat. It could be over pressurizing.
If the LPR was turned to far in from flush you could have compromised the LPR springs. I would swap them out with new ones.
Max out the solenoid dials. See if there is any difference.

When installing the regulator piston spring you will notice the spring will slide onto thereg piston with little to no resistance one way and with some resistance the other. You want the side to go on with no resistance.
If this isnt helping you may also need to swap out the 2 orings inside the reg...
#15 on the regulator piston.
#10 inside the regulator bottom body.

Check to see that the gun is not in training mode.
Is the solenoid connected to the board? No pinched wires? Try disconnecting the eye wires. This could be shorting out the board if they are pinched.
Up your dwell by 1 ms.
Turn the solenoid dials all the way to max.
LPR turned in to far? Should be 1 turn in from flush.
Is the LPR assembled properly?

I bought a used LV1 and it can't keep up with 12bps ramping. I checked and the rammer bumper is missing. Is this what is causing the speed issue?

I'm planning to get a replacement bumper so I'm wondering if this will fix the issue or should I be looking at something else.

All other settings are stock.

Thanks

Check the speed dials on the solenoid. They should be set at 5/7.
Dwell, set it to stock.
MAX ROF should be set to 12.
Are the eyes faulting?

Hey I have a sl66 and I just replaced the noid with an 07 noid and manifold. But now when I air the gun up the rammer and bolt shoot forward and stay forward. There is a little leak coming from one of the holes in the solenoid. When I degas the gun I have to relieve pressure from the hpr and the lpr. Have tried some things but can't figure it out. Any help would be greatttllyyy appreciated!

My 05 ego is experiencing some velocity issues. Troubleshooting went as follows:
1 Changed battery to a fresh, name brand battery.
2 reset inline reg and lpr.
3 cleaned lubed everything
4 only after raising dwell to 18-20 would a playable velocity be achieved (250 fps)

All signs point to a solenoid going bad. The solenoid does click but i think the coil is going out. My question is:
Would the solenoid in the link below serve as a direct drop in replacement for the 05-06 solenoid.

http://www.airsoldier.com/mm5/mercha...Code=SOLENOIDS

Are there any other issues that would cause velocity issues that I should look for.

Thank you for the help

I would start with replacing the rammer orings.

Did you reverse the hoses from noid to rammer barbs?
