No, it does not.

It looks like he is borrowing Greg Hasting's crossover.

It does not have the XVR back cap, and is the same red crossover, laser engraved with Greg's logo that Greg is normally shooting.

Overall we were really impressed. I've been running with the original crossover since it was released and always felt it shot very accurately. The only thing I would have improved upon was the stock trigger pull in electro. I did upgrade to a Virtue board last month and could not get over the improvement. Now it's probably one of the smoothest mid range markers I've ever used.

To be honest.. The AC adapter.. I will be calling Tippmann about it.. I don't like it at all. The 3 different AC barrels I tried didn't sit flush to the back of the adapter leaving a gap.. Other then that.. The marker is amazing and the adapter can be fixed.

What's Tippmann's reason for not having a native AC threaded XVR and including it with an A5 adapter?

Because that would be the beginning of the end of A5 threaded barrels

When we received our two to test out, we put Furious barrels on and the sat flush and even.

They at least have to release it as a spare part if the original breaks.

And how exactly did it improve the performance or smoothness of the marker? If it was the bolt I could understand, does the solenoid activate the sear softer or something? Or are you talking about the trigger, which I don't understand how it could improve the trigger unless the Virtue board has a microswitch instead of a hall-effect switch (which is activated by the magnet in the trigger and has no contact with the board).

Just want to know how the Virtue board is so much better than the stock one, other than more options for firing modes, or higher ROF which is not always allowed anyway.

I would love to hear about someone's experience with the Techt MRT HE bolt as far as efficiency goes, and not just that it raises the fps by 20-30 fps, but how many more paintballs can be shot over the stock bolt.

I would get the stock A-5 barrel bored out to accept freak inserts.

Of just grab a CP barrel...they make A-5 threads, right?

I have a Deadlywind Fibur X and it is great, no problems, quiet and looks just plain awesome on the Crossover.

I can't comment on this gun specifically, but a board which has finer increments of adjustability can often allow for a smoother shooting gun. (dwell for example can be fine tuned lower due to the added increments). Not sure if this is the case or not for the XVR and Virtue board.

The Virtue board is a huge improvement over stock because the stock board performs so poorly. The psp mode on the stock board is really unusable for any serious tournament play.

I love my crossover and recommend the marker to players all the time, but with the caveat that they need to buy a virtue board with it. As much as I really wanted to like this marker when I purchased it, I would have sold it off if I hadn't installed the Virtue board.

In regards to the MRT bolt, I am confident in shooting 10+ pods on a 68/45. Likely more.

So Tippmann needs to improve two things before this marker is a winner.... the board and bolt.
