The cam started screaming in it not too long ago... timing cover is no longer riveted on, and it screwed on, which tells me that the previous owner had been inside of it once upon a time. The lifter screen also had metal shavings in it so something went wrong in there. Just hoping it doesn't cost too much, but I'm going to do a lot of "might as well" stuff while I'm in there like replacing the rockers and the pushrods... once I get a new cam in it, and new lifters (I'm almost positive a lifter is going out, or the crappy INA inner cam bearing) it should be fine for well over 100k. Just previous owner **** ups, which are super common on any old harley.
